Extremely pleased to have this wonderful bakery in our neighbourhood. Even with the change of ownership, the excellent quality of breads, croissants, sweets and savouries has stayed the same (and even improved!), and some new favourites have emerged as the new owners make the place their own. Keep up the great work!

A family member picked up four desserts for a small birthday. There was a strawberry mousse with custard, a green pineapple and coconut mousse, a fruit tart, and a tiramisu or chocolate mousse dessert. All of them were inedible except for the strawberry mousse. We usually don’t like to waste food and try to eat everything given but this was a huge disappointment and we put it back in the box. All the fruits on each dessert looked like they were prepared a week ago with some rotting and drying up, and the thin plastic containers they came in ruined the experience of the dessert. The fruit tart was rock hard it took a large knife to even get through it, and the tart was flavourless - including the custard inside. The tiramisu had so much cocoa powder or espresso power on the top it was extremely bitter. & the pineapple mousse had this lime green food colouring added to it which was unappealing. High quality desserts don’t need artificial food colouring. The strawberry mousse was great, aside from the old fruits on top. Everyone has 1 spoonful each and didn’t bother eating more, which was disappointing because this was the dessert for the birthday.

We stop here weekly for the best fresh bread and always pick up pastries or other treats at the same time. Everything has been excellent. We've picked up special occasion cakes here and each one has been beautiful. The staff at A l'Epi de Ble are all wonderful... I could go on...
