Abbey’s Creations Montgomery/Bowness

Wanted to take two 9yr olds for ice cream so googled and Abby’s by the airport came up. Wasn’t sure how legit this was as was in an industrial area and back of a new, but still mostly vacant building, but Wowzer!!! It was incredible!! So cutely decorated, tons of flavours, tons of add ins, make their own ice cream with the making process visible in the back, and the coolest options of cones. Kids were blown away and will definitely wanting to go back!

Tried the Dubai flavored ice cream and it was amazing! Super unique and full of rich flavors—it was like a whole experience in a scoop. Huge shoutout to Ken for the warm service. You can tell this place is all about quality and creativity. Definitely coming back to try more!

AC is a sweet little gem that’s as fun as it is flavourful! What makes it really stand out is how customizable everything is - from the cone to the long list of toppings and mix-ins you can pile on.

There’s also a clear Filipino influence throughout the menu, which I (as a Filipino) personally love - flavors like ube, mango, and buko pandan feel both nostalgic and exciting, especially if you grew up with them. It’s a great place to introduce friends to Filipino-inspired desserts, or just indulge in something that reminds you of home!

We absolutely love Abbey’s Creations at the Bowness location! The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. We tried the Dubai Chocolate Craze and the Strawberry Dubai Kunafa Cup — both were amazing, but the Strawberry was our favorite! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! Will definitely come back!!!❤️

Probably the best icecream shop in Calgary in my opinion. Very friendly customer service
