Very poor customer service here. This is NOT a reflection of Abbey's as a company. Some major training needs to be done here. It is terrible to walk into a place, especially for ICE CREAM and be treated less than human. I will not come here again and hope management can do coaching on proper customer service and brand representation. No greeting, no hi, nothing. The person seemed to be serving people they knew, maybe family and had no regard for other customers. Night and day as compared to the other locations!

I’ve been meaning to try Abbeys Creations Midnapore for a while now and I regret taking so long to get there. The flavours are so original, and so so delicious!! Sampled many of the flavours and had trouble deciding what to go with as they were all so tasty. I went the Creme Brûlée and baklava cheese cake . WOW!! Linda served us and told us all about Abbey’s as well as the different flavours and coffee. She was very lovey and knowledgeable, and made the experience even better! To top it off, it’s a locally owned, and the ice cream is really dairy with no preservatives. I’ll definitely be back!!!

I find this place overpriced. They should consider lowering the regular scoop options and I would come much more often. Otherwise, the quaility is not worth it. I get the price for the specialty items but a single scoop of ice cream should not be $7.

My family went to Abbey’s in Bowness for the yyc ice cream fest ice cream nachos on Thursday evening. There was only one staff member working (Kate) and it was very busy. She handled the lineup so professionally and moved everyone through with a smile and an apology for the wait. The ice cream nachos were absolutely delicious, with a scoop of Dubai ice cream. The service is always great at Abbey’s, and the ice cream never disappoints. We would highly recommend Abbey’s Bowness

We’ve been loyal customers for years — celebrating birthdays with cakes from here and bringing our kids in for treats because we genuinely wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing. We walked in and purchased a large Rocky Road cake for a family birthday celebration, and the cake was clearly spoiled. It had a moldy taste, and there was also visible mold along the bottom cake layer and in the side icing. When we called the store to report the issue, the staff member we spoke with was dismissive and rude, essentially implying that we were being dishonest. The way the situation was handled was just as upsetting as the product itself. Sadly, after years of being regular customers, this experience has completely changed our opinion, and we won’t be returning.
