Love the service, just wish there was a card option so recipients know who sent the treat. :)

This place was packed when we went on a Friday night and barely managed to get a seat. The outdoor patio is nice, although the cushions were stained and dirty.
The food was quite good, I loved the meatball and the bread, it was the perfect amount of crunchy. The chicken chizo sausage dish was definitely lacking in flavour, it was a tad bland.
The desserts looked a lot better than they tasted, but I don’t think I would try it again.
The sorbet here was a little below average and the matcha latte was a tad too bitter for me. But overall, the main entree’s of food were pretty good.

Rather busy hip/bougie brunch spot with many seating opportunities that seemed to appease a clientele of 20s-30s yr olds (although any food place is never truly age restricting).
Have not had the chance for a dine in experience yet but from the take out one, it was very good. Extremely wide selection of sandwiches to sweets to baked goods to order out. This also includes a lot of different types of drinks you can order as well.
I enjoy the atmosphere here along the white walls and abstract lines. Food pricing here is on the slightly higher side - proper meal will be around $18-20. Baked goods can vary from average of $6 and cake slices/pastries at approx $6-7. The service was standard and nothing that stuck out.
Speaking on baked goods and croissants - very well done especially if you have them heat it up for you. It's flaky and buttery - the textures and taste you would expect without anything else fancy to it. Simple and straight to the point. Many more things to try in the future.

The atmosphere on it’s own is worth your visit!
We had the fun guy pizza upstairs. We asked for black pepper for the pizza. The ladies were so professional and helpful we didn’t even notice when the black pepper sprinkler was put on the table (WOW!) with zero interruption to our conversation! The pizza was so yummy and the crust ohhh mamishka!
Then we had chocolate hazelnuts, raspberry chocolate tart with iced mocha outside on the patio, and let me tell you we enjoyed every bite of it!
Highly recommend this place for any day of the week!

I’ve always loved Alforno as a brunch, lunch or coffee spot. They no longer have their line divider so it’s confusing as to where to line up to place your order. They also don’t have their duck sandwich anymore which is a shame as that was my favorite menu item and basically why I go back. Having said that I tried their avocado toast with eggs on top. My gf had the breakfast sandwich and she said it was delicious. I love the bread here. They definitely do that right. It’s a little pricier than other trendy cafés as there isn’t much service here since it’s cafeteria-style. We had a breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, an iced latte, and London Fog. Total was $51 including tax and tip.
