I love shopping at this store. Not only is it a serene and inviting environment, it has everything I want and need in a local grocer. What I love more than anything though is the friendly and helpful staff. They are all ALWAYS cheerful, helpful, and kind. In particular, Su Lan who consistently greets me with a genuine smile and kind word. It's really because of the staff that I go out out of my way to shop at Amaranth and will continue to do so for years to come. Thank you!

Had great experience shopping in amaranth Foods.. The staff was really helpful. The observe customers while simultaneously managing the store needs. As an instacart shopper I went to the store. I was searching for a particular product it was taking ages to find the product and I could find it eventually and my timer was running down. One of the store representative came up to answer politely asked if they can help me with anything.. From that moment the store representative helped finding every product and saved lot of my time.. The cashiers are very friendly and they have got stickers at the cashier station which are very attractive and fun.. Really loved the experience

The store has been advertising that they are part of the Too Good to Go program so I thought I would give it a try. I purchased a surprise bag that included a tub of yogurt. When I got home and opened the yogurt, I discovered that it was moldy. The staff I spoke to on the phone said I could come back for an exchange. I get to the store and I’m scolded for bringing it back. The onsite manager said that I’m buying expired food so that’s part of the deal. This is odd because the program is about buying food that is still “good to go”. If this program was about selling food that has spoiled and is unsuitable to be eaten for profit then shame on you! Talk about trying to take advantage of the consumer by hoping you can offload all your moldy food that is meant for the trash and refusing to take responsibility for it. To make matters worse, she said I could just scoop off the mold and eat around it. This is in direct violation of Health Canada’s recommendations for food safety so thanks for that! The staff member was dismissive and belittled me in front of other customers so it was a total waste of my time driving back and forth. And before you respond with a canned line about sharing the negative experience through email, I have already done so and never received a response. I did give you an opportunity to reach out to me and see if we could come to a satisfactory conclusion but instead I will just leave my review here and shop elsewhere.

I give Amaranth store in Arbour Lake a 5 Star experience. I like the location even although I have moved a bit further away I still pop in when in the area as I have been shopping at this store since they first opened. I like their variety and selection of products, it’s everything I’m looking for. They have certain products I can’t seem to find elsewhere. Staff is helpful and I find pricing to be comparable.

I frequent this lovely store in Arbour lake and can spend allot of time here, because they have so many wonderful things to explore. One of the things I love about Amaranth is how helpful their employees are. If you cant find something or if they don't have it, they will order it for you. Love that. They carry everything for anyone looking to be more healthy or just people who want to know what kind of food they are buying and what's in it. I will continue visiting and buying at this neighborhood gem :o)
