I was also blessed with baked goods from this location, and gods everything I had was amazing. Loved the pretzels, they were amazingly savory bites. But I would die for those cream horns. Just utter perfection. The cream puffs were really good to. I hope to make it down there and fill a box of stuff up for myself one day ;D

A wonderful German bakery in south Edmonton that has been run by the same family for decades. The pretzels are, of course, exemplary along with their pretzel buns (pretzel buns are Friday and Saturday only). Their variety of pastries, tortes and pies are almost overwhelming on what to enjoy first! Danishes and the Quark Cheesecake are my personal favourites. The breads and buns are naturally sourdough leavened and have a deeper flavour because of it. It can be busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but like any independent bakery, it’s best to call ahead if you want something specific. They have such a magical selection that going in on a whim is perfectly fine too!

The pretzel was really good. We ate it with some warm butter and jam. Loved it.
The salt pieces on the pretzel are not a lot. Can easily pick or rub most of them off.
Note that they run out of pretzels early. 4 left at 4 in the afternoon.
Enjoyed the cream horn as well.
I absolutely loved the brownie. Decedent and rich.
The yellow one has some marzipan stuffed into cookie dough. You either like marzipan or don't.
Will be back. They sell bread as well.
$16 for the marzipan cookie, brownie, cream horn and 2pretzels.
