I have never been to this bakery but I bought their Pound Cake sold at Iqbal Foods (supermarket) so I had to leave a review!! IT WAS THE MOST MOIST AND CHEWY POUND CAKE EVER 10/10. This was the pound cake of my dreams

Very friendly staff, I think this was the most organized and clean middle eastern store that I have been to. The bakery is nice and clean and makes bread and cookies professionally (However, they did not provide the details of how they sourced some of the products.) Also the sangak bread was average. Yes! I still recommend visiting this place as the owners and staff are friendly and helpful and they have a complete stock of Persian food items.

The store is clean and has a good selection of Persian products, but I’ve noticed that the staff are often in the back, so I have to wait for someone to come to the counter when I’m ready to pay. Also, on my last few visits, they didn’t have some of the well-known brands I was looking for. It’s still a nice place to shop, but I hope they restock those brands soon!

I think Arya has the most variety of Persian groceries in the frozen section. I have not seen half of their frozen items at other Persian markets in Calgary. The store is clean, staff very friendly. My mom can’t stop talking about their Saffron ice cream!
