Oh my word!!! Definitely check out this little bakery on 82ST. I’ve had the bread before which is definitely delicious. The whole wheat is so good, but today I tried a filled to order donut. You can pick either glazed or unglazed or Sugared doughnut and he will fill it with Bavarian cream, jelly or lemon. Super fresh and light. Not sickly sweet either which is nice. Definitely worth trying out. I also bought a loaf of the raisin bread which I had never tried before. Toasted with some butter…..WOW🤩 Go give this Bakery a try, keep the mom and Pop Bakeries going. Nothing beats having a taste of something homemade, Fresh and not like a factory made it❤️

I'm not sure what it's called, but the cinnamon swirl pastry that's like a cross between a cinnamon bun and a croissant is the best dessert I've ever had!! I could eat them every day. The pretzel bagels are also delicious.

B&A Bakery is the place we purchased our German dark rye bread from for many years. When the bakery was sold to new owners, the quality of the rye breads was inconsistent. Sometimes it was great, other times it was below standard. For example, the light and dark sections of the marble bread would separate and the loaf was a bit dry. More recently, the dark ryes were underbaked - there would be a layer of raw dough on the bottom of the loaf. So we're now looking around for another bakery. I'm sure that B&A has some other excellent baked items available. After all, they've been around for a long time. However, at least for now, German dark rye isn't one of them.

B&A North Edmonton's best kept secret. Everything I have tasted is delicious. Everyone I have shared with loved the tasty filled doughnuts. The cinnamon buns are killing people because they are to die for. Hint go to Tim Hortons after you have bought your bread and treats just buy their coffee and enjoy B&A's offerings. I am still buying my way through the store go early and avoid missing out.
