Love the food and cake selection. We have shrimp salad, avocado toast, Americano and the taste is not disappointing. The shrimp salad was surprisingly really tasty and good. The pancake dish is so-so. The cake and bread is good. The down size we found the price is really high. But we still go back occasionally for food and sweets.

I decided not to leave a review right away because the first impressions are deceptive. But after visiting this cafe again, I realized that I wanted to come back here again and again. Incredibly delicious food, desserts and coffee. The portions correspond to the price. Service that deserves praise. The atmosphere where you want to sit for a long time. One of the desserts seemed too sweet to me, but I think it’s my opinion. Thank you for the delicious macarons,They reminded me of Paris!
I recommend!

Awesome little cafe with a really good coffee and baked goods. Really enjoyed their desserts. Food was decent not spectacular, very good presentation.

Super fancy looking cafe inside. Clean establishment. Prices are a little high. Lots of parking out front no patio.

I was pretty excited to hear that a halal cafe was opening in the neighbourhood in fall 2024. Since then I've visited 3 times and have tried a variety of things from their offerings.

Yes it's an extremely pretty place and I realise everything is made fresh but after several visits over 4 months and trying multiple items I feel like I gave it a fair shot before reviewing.

I really wish the "made from scratch" branding and the pricing matched the actual taste of their food.

The first visit was on opening day. I got a baguette, a croissant, a scone, and two desserts. I'm familiar with their sister store, Cafe Versailles, and was expecting similar prices since they hadn't yet marked the prices for any of these items. Instead, I got quite the sticker shock to hear the total was over $50. The scone was entirely too dry. The croissant was all right, but nothing special compared to other local bakeries while being more expensive. I did really enjoy the baguette which was quite well done and so crusty that I didn't need to toast it at home (but I recognize not everyone would enjoy this). As for the desserts, unfortunately I found them quite unremarkable (one was their signature tiramisu dessert and the other was an almond tart).

On the second visit me and my husband got a coffee (for him) and hot chocolate (for me) along with a scone and their passion fruit dessert. The coffee was okay and the scone was still too dry. I found the hot chocolate only mildly tasted Iike chocolate and was barely tepid, but I did like that it wasn't overly sweet. The passion fruit dessert I enjoyed immensely and was much better than the previous desserts we had from here.

Our third visit was fairly recent. We both got the spicy beef burger with fries. Firstly, the fries were great and altogether it was enough to fill us up. The burgers were a bit underwhelming though. The beef was dry and the buns were a little hard (over toasted?). My husband thought the buns on his burger might have been a little stale. Even though it says the burger uses cheddar cheese, it tasted exactly like the processed American cheese slices. Pretty forgettable overall except for the fries. I wasn't mad about the pricing of the burger, but just wish it tasted better.

I'm glad they lowered their prices on some items but it's still very pricey for the taste you get in return.

For some reason I'm still tempted to try other things from their menu, so I'm sure I'll give them another shot in the future sometime and hope it's better than my past experiences.
