We went for a late lunch and enjoyed it a lot!
Very nice atmosphere, great food and service.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They prepared the food quickly.
The TRUFFLE MUSHROOM on a cheese bagel
was delicious. It had a fried egg, aioli, arugula, swiss, truffle mushroom and we had it on a bagel instead.
Our blueberry muffin was very fresh and tasty.
All in all a great little cafe with a great atmosphere!
Thank you!

A Nice Place to have coffee and a quick bite. The place is big with a huge kitchen space. We ordered a bowl of Creamy Herb Tomato Soup With a Bun And A Ham & Cheese Sandwich And A Cage Latte. Food was good and soon was the coffee.

Went to this cafe today for breakfast. The atmosphere was really nice and calming though it was busy early in the morning and the cafe was working pretty well. The staff were very friendly and approachable, the food was delightful and very fresh too. Ordered caramel latte, breakfast sandwich with mushroom truffle, and a muffin plus a rice pudding they were all tasty.
Overall, it's one of my favorite cafés now within Edmonton.

i will say the lox bagel was delicious; generous amount of dill and capers but very skimpy on the smoked salmon. not worth the 18$ price tag in my opinion. i’d consider lowering the price to a palatable amount or increasing the volume of salmon so customers have a greater sense of value when justifying spending an hour and a half’s worth of their life at minimum wage (after taxes) considering that’s what their staff is probably making. also, tomato’s on this bagel are unnecessary.
dirty iced chai was also very good; not too sweet. only avail in medium and large, but compared to starbucks sizes they are more like small and medium for iced drinks. 7$ for medium = shrinkflation.
in short, the food was good, but not worth the 30$ price tag for breaky.
value 1/5.

District Cafe is bright and inviting, filled with modern flair and amble seating available! District was easy to walk to. There seemed to be only paid parking from what I could observe.
I walked into a busy cafe around noon, and the line went quickly, which was very pleasant. The service was lovely, they were polite and fast.
They have lots of drink and lunch options and very underwhelming bakery options, baring in mind, though, that I came around noon, so there may have been more earlier. I have a small appetite, so I tend to prefer small portion pastries/on the go items to choose from. I would definitely need to come back in order to try their lunch menu. I always order a Chai for the first time, and I conclude that it was one of the best chai teas I have been served.
Overall, I do recommend District Cafe, but make sure to come early in the day!
