Incredible gluten free (and often vegan) breads and sweets. The sourdough bread was incredible toasted with peanut butter. The tigernut cookie was a crunchy treat. So over in Ritchie between The Blue Chair & Party Donut is FOOD IN THE NUD. Pay attention to the name. It’s a small little bakery but a seriously important bakery. If you are celiac or have gluten issues and you’re looking for foods you can eat. EAT THEIR AMAZING PRODUCTS. So I’m neither but I have friends who are and I won’t avoid these food. They have healthy sweets like muffin, bars, cup cakes and a whole range of frozen foods. Are you struggling to find good choices. Plus if I heard correctly they use no refined sugar. Which helps a diabetic. This is the place. I had a chocolate cherry bomb cupcake yesterday and it was amazing as was the chocolate raspberry sandwich and the loaf of sesame bread which is healthy and exactly what I as a diabetic needs. It has seeds and is made with millet. It was delicious , also it freezes well. Food in the Nud is smslll and you might miss it if you didn’t know it was there but it has great neighbours so you cannot miss it, it’s right between them. I’d say this might offer a healthier option than a donut or French pastries. The staff are friendly and helpful. So the end of the review is try this. It will give people who suffer from gluten intolerance and are celiacs. Try it. David Wilson

Love this bakery. I drive all the way from the West just to get their baked goods. Gus’ bread is so delicious and their pies are to die for. Highly recommend to those on a Paleo lifestyle. I also want to mention that the staff are so great. Always friendly and helpful.
