Great little casual cafe as part of a bakery - of which everything they bake is delicious with special shout out for the Carrot Cake! They have make-your-own sandwiches, soups, loaves, cookies, and a hot breakfast menu. They also offer a rotating local beer option. True cafe style where you seat yourself among the scattered tables or out on their sidewalk patio. One thing to note is that there is little accessibility given the age of the building so anyone in a wheelchair or reduced mobility is likely stuck on the patio (and others would need to order inside up 2 steps while opening a door). Still worth it, especially if you love homestyle carbs!

I visited with a work colleague for lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves! The staff were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed a soup and sandwich! I had their Nanaimo Bar hot chocolate for yychotchoclatefest! The food was hot and delicious. We will be back! Thanks for a memorable lunchtime experience!

Delicious sandwiches. I got the tuna melt and it was very good! The salad was great (though the vinaigrette dressing was quite taste for my taste buds). Coffee was good. It’s a cute space for lunch. My friend got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and it was pretty good as well. In all honesty, this place is busy because it’s definitely different and people love a good sandwich. I’d definitely go back if I was in the area again.

I was looking for a place for gluten free sandwiches and this popped up, the sandwich was amazing, the soup of the day was as well! So many treats too, the cookies are huge. It's so cute inside as well. If you are looking for gluten free there is a few options, the build your own sandwich can be, there is an amazing Shepard's pie as well, and the soup was too. Great little place to get lunch on a snowy afternoon
