Came by to pick up a quick snack and bought a bag of butterfly cookies for my son. I should have checked the bag more carefully cause I didn’t notice the bottom half of the bag was filled with burnt cookies! No, not chocolate flavoured. Just burnt flavoured. I’m really surprised an upscale cafe like this wouldn’t just throw this batch of cookies out.
3 stars for the 3 unburnt cookies that were pretty tasty.

Great place to spend a few hours with friends. They have the best French dessert that I tasted in Calgary. Really like in France. Good coffee, but with tea assortment they need to work

How do you do, Calgary?
I've been a loyal patron of Les Moulins La Fayette in TD Square Downtown Calgary for quite some time now, and I must say, it's become my go-to spot. The combination of their delectable cheesecake and superb coffee is simply unbeatable. My personal favorites are the Cafe Latte with almond milk and their indulgent hot chocolate. The cafe's ambiance exudes warmth and security, making it the perfect place to unwind.
What truly sets Les Moulins La Fayette apart is its exceptional staff. Thiago and Bia consistently provide top-notch service, with Thiago's upbeat attitude always brightening my day. Plus, their rewards program is a fantastic perk for coffee lovers like myself - nothing beats earning a free drink after a few visits.
I've made it a ritual to spend a few leisurely hours here every Saturday and Sunday, and it's always a highlight of my week. Huge thanks to the team for consistently delivering such a wonderful experience. Keep up the fantastic work!

We visited yesterday and the experience was great. You arder at the counter and then can sit down while you wait for your order to be called. We went as a group of five, but tables only seat four so we had to pull a chair from another table.
The drinks were delicious and well enjoyed by the group. The drinks are very large, so I would recommend the smaller size if you are looking for a regular size drink.
The food was good, but not exceptional. The creme Brule was delicious in flavour, but too runny in texture on one side. The meringue was over cooked (no soft texture in the middle), but was good tasting. The croissants are average.
I have been here before to pick up desserts and bring home. The server was not knowledgeable about ingredients, so if you have severe allergies, I would avoid.
Overall, I would go back if I was in the area.

Well, I drove 40 minutes to eat here. Had to be one of the best chocolatines I've had even though it wasn't warmed up. Would I drive back for another one? Probably not.
Chocolatine, a swiss ham croissant, a tea and a coffee for 30$? The Chai latte wasn't even a real Chai latte and the bag of tea was from David's Tea. You ever go to get a McDonald's fry and it's in A&W packaging? I paid 6$ for a tea bag from David's tea that was soaked in hot water.
Oh and when you get there, there is a huge parking lot for the restaurant to the left of it. If you go to the right side parking lot you will be bombarded with very aggressive signs saying the parking is for Starbucks.
