The bakery is located in a pretty sketchy part of town, and to get in you have to ring a doorbell and wait to be let in. I enjoyed everything I ordered, except I thought the macaron cream was very rich and was a bit runny. The bakery itself is really cute, the decorations are great, and they have a lot of options. They even offer high tea options for children, which is a nice touch. The menu has a wide variety of items, including homemade chocolates, cakes, and jams, so there’s plenty to choose from. The seating area is quite limited, so it’s not ideal for large groups, but overall there’s a lot to enjoy. They are also a Halal bakery.

I can’t recommend this cake shop enough! What impressed me most though was their amazing service. They close at 6:00 pm, but when I needed to pick up my cake at 6:30 pm, the staff kindly waited for me without any complaint or rush. They were super friendly and patient even though it was after closing time. That kind of thoughtfulness is really rare these days. If you’re looking for delicious, gorgeous cakes and a shop that genuinely cares about their customers, this place is 100% worth it. Will definitely come back again and again! Thank you so much! 🙏🍰

One of the most beautiful cafes I have ever walked into. ♡ The atmosphere feels so fancy and elevated, yet when you start buying the treats, the prices are comparable, if not better, than any cafe chain. Everything looks delicious, the woman servicing me behind the counter was very sweet, and I couldn't get over how delicious everything looked. Atop their macarons and goodies, there is also an extensive and affordable lunch menu. I felt like I was sitting in a Parisian cafe while I had my little snack. ♡ A must visit, and must eat here!!

This is truly a gem of Edmonton. I’ve now had the pleasure of eating here a few times, and every time, I am filled with such a sense of appreciation and inner peace. There is a difference between a good restaurant - even a great restaurant - and an important restaurant. I’m sure you could find restaurants across the world that are more gastronomically experimental, or have sleeker interior design, but that’s not what I wager Macarons & Goodies is aspiring to. Macarons & Goodies aspires to make you happy. In a world plagued by endless consumerism and the commodification of all we used to hold dear, I am astounded and pleasantly comforted by the passion at work in this place. The pastries are delicious, the sandwiches elegant… I know this review may come off as pretentious to some, but it’s certainly not my intention. My intention is to make it clear that it is not just the fact that Macarons & Goodies produces delicious, exquisite food that makes it great, but the fact that from the moment you step in, it is clear that this restaurant is steeped in the one thing that matters the most to me: care. Everything is intentional, and made with care, and beautiful. Thank you, Macarons & Goodies, for being beautiful. I hope to dine here as much as my wallet allows (and considering their killer prices, it’s more often than I feel my mortal frame deserves!) Much love and appreciation, Waylon.

Personally won’t be coming back, I love trying new bakeries and cafes across the city so even tho it was a sketchy area decided I wanted the quiche as they had a few selections available. Not really sure what I was given some sort of pastry with an over cooked egg of top but not the type of quiche I was expecting.. paid $20 for a bad tasting pastry and side salad. I’m sure the other options on the menu are good but I won’t be back to try.
