Wow! Wow! Wow! A hidden gem! We had brunch here and bought some assorted baking to take home. The baking was phenomenal. The coffee shop/restaurant is small but lovely. Steady stream of customers. Excellent service. Clean! I can’t say enough good things. I will definitely go again and highly recommend.

We recently visited Malina Café in Edmonton, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything we tried was exactly the way real Ukrainian food should be — full of flavor, comfort, and authenticity. Every dish tasted like home.
A very special thank you goes to Chef Lyudmila. She doesn’t just cook — she puts her heart, soul, and incredible skill into every meal, and you can truly feel it in the taste.

This was my second time coming here. First time I had the perogies which were absolutely amazing. This time I tried the Ukranian sausage with hashbrown breakfast. They only lose a point because my hashbrowns needed to be cooked a lot longer. They were really mushy in the middle, and I didn't enjoy that. Everything else was stellar. The baked goods are amazing as always

This restaurant is hudden quaint surprise. I would describe it as elevated Ukrainian food where all the food feels like it was prepared by artisans. Humble dishes are turned into premium meals here. The presentation is excellent and the flavor of the dishes are wonderful. I did find the place to be a little expensive, but you cannot argue the quality. There is limited seating and can get quite full for brunch or breakfast on weekends.

So lucky to live walking distance to this neighborhood gem. Great food brings back all the homey feelings. Try the poppyseed roll, chocolate raspberry babka, borscht (the only one I have ever purchased and been amazed at how good it is). Chicken soup is picked up whenever someone is feeling off. Truly nothing bad on their menu. Thanks for making home more homey
