How dare you ruin my wife's birthday.
Asked specifically for an ubé birthday cake as it's my wife's favorite cake. I confirmed 3 times on the phone that it was ubé and twice in person before paying. They lied to me the whole time and didn't even bother to make the cake I wanted. They will say whatever it takes to make a sale because they just want your money.
Plus the cake was half cream because they were too cheap to give me a full cake. I paid 60$ they gave me some random cake and cheaped out on the ingredients.
I hate places that lie to their customers to get a sale. If you can't do the job then say you can't do it so I can find someone else

For the price you charge for a simple bbq pork bun, I would expect to have some BBQ pork in them. My $2.40 bbq pork bun was empty. Very disappointed. Vancouver locations will NEVER get away with this BS!

I always come to this bakery for some buns, lately their quality has gone downhill drastically. No need me to say more, have a look at the 2 photos, that’s custard bun, they charge more but quality no longer exists.

My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday since I specifically asked for an ube cake.
He called this bakery and asked several times to confirm whether they sell ube cake, and they said yes. Before paying, he asked again if the cake was ube, and the lady confirmed that it was.
My husband sent me a photo, and I mentioned that it didn’t look like ube cake since ube is usually purple, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt, thinking it might be ube inside once we cut it. Unfortunately, it was not. Ube cake is purple and has a distinct flavor. This cake was just plain cream and fruit, nothing even close to ube.
This was meant to be a birthday surprise, and it was completely ruined by false information.
They lied.I would not recommend this place based on this experience.

Amazing food and very sweet service! We tried the custard and pineapple versions of the taro and red bean buns, the pineapple BBQ pork bun, soy sticky rice, red bean fried sesame ball, fried dumplings, and the mushroom and pork bun, and they were all exactly what we were looking for. The filling on the taro buns was especially good. The personal loaf with ham and onion was a standout, but we didn't see what it was called 😅. We will definitely come back!
