Minuet Cafe

Such a nice surprise! This cafe is absolutely incredible and unassuming. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the tarts and cakes are delicious. We came in later in the afternoon after having sushi at Momoko and the tarts were sold out. We ordered a slice of the chocolate truffle cake and a slice of the cheesecake. Both were surprisingly light and not too sweet. We ordered a cappuccino and a mocha and both were great. Unfortunately, all of the tarts were sold out by the time we got there. The owners mentioned that we could reserve a tart for pickup to ensure availability. There were some different ones to choose from but we decided to reserve a Yuja Butter Tart and a Cherry Creme Brulee. Again both were incredible. The intensity of the Yuja flavour has ruined us for other pastries with Yuja that are weak by comparison. I look forward to coming back to try many of the tarts.

There is a lot I can say about this place. It is one of the best cafes and bakeries that you can go to. It truly is a Hidden Gem. The tarts that they offer are absolutely amazing and there is a lot of choice in flavors. The quiches are just as good. The cakes and cheesecakes are as good as the tarts. And you have to love the little bit of care and attention they put in their coffees and lattes that they serve. They are German trained chefs so you know that these cakes and tarts are next level of tastiness. I would say this is one of the best little cafes I have gone to in Calgary and would recommend it in a second to everyone. And the owners go out of their way to help you and look after your experience we try to go every Saturday it is just that good

Happened to visit this cafe for the first time, and the service, atmosphere and desserts were very cozy, welcoming, and perfectly balanced.

The owners are a very nice couple with immaculate customer service. The cakes and lattes were perfectly balanced, not being too sweet and had a great flavour.

The decoration from when you walk into the cafe to the tableware, utensils, and candles are beautiful and give you the “cafe-feel” or coziness that you hope for on a cold day or when you just wanna escape for a bit. Very aesthetically pleasing.

Great customer service very nice lady, nice interior. You feel welcomed the moment you step into the coffee shop! I only tried their Iced Caramel Latte but im looking forward to try their tarts!

Minuet Cafe is so nice! The style of this cafe is beautiful and my hot chocolate was made with a real espresso machine! The milk was so foamy! And the piece of cake we had was too delicious! Everyone in our neighbourhood should come to Minuet Cafe!
