We bought 5 different cakes in place of a traditional birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was such a great decision! We had so much fun taste testing together as a family and they tasted even better than they looked! There were two desserts that we’ll have to come back for in the future because it was already sold out before we got there: the pear and the pina colada.

A new bakery just opened in the city, so I went to check it out this morning. I ordered a pain au chocolat—the layers were impressive: crisp and light. The chocolate was rich and not overly sweet, which I really liked. Their desserts are also quite interesting. The lemon tart especially caught my eye—hopefully I’ll get a chance to try it in the afternoon sometime. As for the coffee, it was just okay. The flat white tasted a bit bitter and over-roasted, but for a dessert shop, the coffee is still decent overall.

A very cute modern bakery right beside Stampede station. The cakes are a bit on the pricier side, but that's the price you pay for the atmosphere and location. We got the mango and espresso caramel tarts which were pleasant. The matcha latte was decent.

This place is nice and clean that offers pretty treats though they’re expensive. I tried their miso caramel hot chocolate and hazelnut/salted caramel tart and they were good. Though one of the staff looked like she’s not happy to be there or to serve.

We loved Otie so much that we returned 3 days in a row! Both the pastries and cakes were excellent. The pain au chocolate has the perfect level of flakiness and light sweetness. The cakes are so beautiful, it almost felt like a crime to eat them. The lemon tart has one of the best lemon desserts I ever had. Highly recommend a visit!
