Oxford Bakehouse

Visited the Crossroads Market today and discovered this delightful treat. I am thrilled that I stopped to purchase some scones and a flapjack. This is my first time eating a British flapjack, it was like the topping of a date square. They told me to heat it up a tiny bit and I'm so glad I did!!!! Extremely tasty! I absolutely love going out for high tea but anytime I want some scones with cream at home I'll definitely buy from here. The best part is that the price is extremely reasonable! We will definitely return for more.

Found this quaint place in High River today! Bright spot with little touches of British charm. A perfect cup of Earl Grey, the Potato Cheese Puff Pastry with a side salad was a perfect late lunch. Their dessert and scone options were scrumptious however I chose to have the fresh made butter tarts, hard to resist & did not disappoint. Friendly service, a comfortable atmosphere, & yummy eats are worth the visit.

HIGHLY recommended. Great taste of home, and will do custom orders too (if given sufficient lead time). Sausage rolls are amazing, Victoria Sponge is amazing. Bakewell tarts are amazing..... You get the idea. Wish I'd taken better pictures, but couldn't wait to eat!

Suzanne’s cakes taste like what a happy memory feels like. It’s delicious and comforting and beautiful. I had the pleasure of having her make the Cake and cupcakes for my wedding and I am so glad I did. Suzanne happily accommodated our flavor choices (chocolate dipped strawberry and Lemon Basil) and knocked them out of the park. People are still raving about them. The tasting process was so nice as well. She had us over to her bakery The Oxford Bakehouse (also a place you should visit) and the atmosphere was cozy, clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a cake maker for your wedding, you should absolutely choose the Handmade Cake Company and The Oxford Bakehouse

An amazing atmosphere, not to mention authentic British food. Scones (with cream and jam), pasties, Scottish eggs, sausage rolls, etc. Everything was SO good. Please go here!!
