We ADORE this place !!! First we arrived and the owner greeted us with a warm welcome. Explained to us his recipes, presented us his products that are organic and locally made and pork free. We had the tomato soup, mighty mo, beef melt and Kensington. We absolutely loved everything but particularly the mighty mo and the tomato soup. They have this tasting grinding nut butter counter with 5 types of nuts butter. We tasted them all with the owner and bought the hazelnut butter and chocolate peanut butter. We took to go the smash burger and classic pb & j. My partner enjoyed the smash burger and for my part, the classic was what you would expect. We would have love to try the elvis. The atmosphere and the service was exceptional. If it only it was close to home, we would go every week. Highly highly highly recommend 🥰😍🤩

The only thing would be that I don't recommend take away (could be done if it's warmed up in the oven).

Oh my goodness, PB & J YYC is absolutely awesome! As Americans visiting Calgary, we were immediately struck by the fantastic feel of this place – it's just got such a cool and welcoming vibe. What really stood out was their incredible selection of freshly made nut butters. We were even offered some generous samples first, which was such a treat! After trying a few, I decided to purchase some of their almond butter, and I was so happy to see there was absolutely nothing else added – just pure almonds, which is exactly what I was looking for. But the real star of the show for me was the grilled PB & J! We both decided to try it, and I opted for the one with raspberry jam. I've always wanted to try a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich but just never got around to making one myself, so I was super happy to find a place that did all the work for me. And let me tell you, using their freshly made peanut butter took it to a whole new level of deliciousness. The warm, gooey peanut butter with the sweet and slightly tart raspberry jam between those perfectly grilled slices of bread was just heavenly. The staff here were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. Honestly, I could not imagine a better place for a delicious and nostalgic treat with a gourmet twist. My only wish is that we had a PB & J YYC shop back home in Missouri – it would definitely be a regular stop for us! This place is a must-visit if you're in Calgary!

Perfect PB&J in Kensington

Who knew a simple PB&J could be this good? , comfort food done right. Great coffee, friendly service, and chill vibes. A hidden gem for a quick, satisfying breakfast.

What a wonderful experience. I got the beef melt to dine in. It feels really good eating a mouth watering warm sandwich in a snowy morning. Hearing some slow music and watching the snow flakes falling down outside. Really nice environment!. Before I go, I got myself cashew butter, Almond butter, and chocolate peanut butter from the self serve nuts butter station. It was the first time I try the fresh test of freshly pressed nuts. I will never buy canned peanut butter again. It is worth it to get it fresh from PB and J.
