Remedy Cafes have become a staple all around Edmonton...each with its own distinct vibe. This is one of the oldest in the city. The stairwell and space on the one side of the area (where the washrooms are) seems like it hasn't been used in some time. The furniture is aging and becoming a little dirty. And overall, it's an odd layout. However, it's still one of our favorite java hangs in the Whyte Avenue area.
The food, coffees and teas are pretty much standard fare from any of the Remedys in the city.
The service was good. Kind and helpful.
The reason we love this one so much is it's one of the rare spots that stays open so you can get a drink in before the late show.
Old reliable...

Came here to meet up with some coworkers. Super chill place. Lots of seating. Staff were attentive, even when it got busy. Ordered some food that came out quickly and was delicious! Will have to come back and try a few more things.

Let’s talk about presentation and well seasoned food!!! This $12.25 Chana Masala is a vegan dish that offers you a gracious amount of flavourful chickpeas with soft buttery naan bread! But my favourite part was the Vanilla Rooibos Chai tea 🤤, it was $5.50 and I opted for oat milk. Look at the size, plus the flavour was full - no sugar or honey required. This is an absolute must have if you decide to visit.
If you try it, let me know what you think @iamher.foodie
