Sweets to Go by Lily

Raquel has created the most unique and creative cakes we’ve ever ordered in 50 years. Our guests were in awe at her jaw dropping creations. Sweets to Go just celebrated its 2 year anniversary and we STRONGLY urge everybody to support this local bakery. Raquel even handed us a gift bag before we left. She is not only talented but she’s personable,generous and super friendly.

My boyfriend along with his family, and I loved the treats from this lovely bakery and we’ve both decided to come back here for sure again. The owner is so sweet and accommodating, and her store is very cozy and has a warm cottage vibe. It’s something out of a fairytale from a 50’s children’s book, with all the freshly baked sweets behind the counter and the whole feel of the room.

I ordered from here sort of on a whim, without having tried her baking prior, and I am so glad I did.

We did have some miscommunication about the cake design, but Lily went above and beyond to make adjustments in time for the party and it turned out so well.

We got so many compliments on the cake design from the people at the party, plus everyone commented on how tasty the cake was. We did funfetti with skor icing, and the cake was perfectly moist and the icing was 10/10.

I would not hesitate to order from here again. Next up I need to try her cupcakes they always look so delicious.

We ordered my sons birthday cake from here. We got cotton candy icing, confetti cake and vanilla custard. The cake was intricate and beautiful while still being delicious, moist and flavourful. I am excited to order another one day. Thank you Sweets to Go.

Cakes were (almost) too beautiful to eat! The icing was not too thick or sweet and the crumb was perfectly moist. Wish the strawberry flavor in our cake was a bit more intense, but otherwise I would have zero hesitation ordering again from Sweets to Go!
