Tried out The Butter Tart Lady for the first via Too Good To Go which is discounted food so it doesn’t go to waste. I paid $8 for an Imperial Cookie, Lemon Poppyseed Cookie and a few other things which I think is definitely worth it. Everything tasted great.

Based on this experience, I think I’ll definitely be revisiting again even if I buy at full price.

Great place overall. Parking is very limited but there’s side streets to park on nearby. Staff are friendly greet customers as they walk in. They have fresh items and frozen items. They are famous for their butter tarts. They have many many flavours so you’re bound to find some you’ll gorge on. They also make pies, cinnamon rolls, scones and have other small desserts available. Would recommend dropping in. Prices are ranged a little higher than grocery store items but taste way better.

First time at the brick and mortar location. Bought many times at pop up markets. Today we bought keto cheesecakes as well as other items. Always great quality and a great selection. Cheerful staff!

The butter tarts have the perfect pastry/filling ratio. I don’t love a lot of crust in my tarts so these are perfect! Best I’ve ever had. :)

Enjoyed a delicious pecan butter tart from their stand at the Assiniboine Night Market and it was INCREDIBLE! Buttery and flakey crust, loaded with chopped pecans enrobed in rich buttery caramel. Absolutely divine!

Make sure to stop here for your butter tart cravings because they sure satisfied mine.
