Velvora Café has honestly become one of my favorite place. Their coffee is part of my morning routine before heading to work, and it always gives me the perfect start to the day. The coffee is rich, fresh, and consistently excellent . the staff are always friendly and professional. Highly recommended for anyone who truly enjoys a great cup of coffee and great service.

Excellent espresso beverages and very nice staff. Drink & food deals are very good value. I wish my pastry hadn't been pre-wrapped because it made the outside soft rather than flakey. But all in all this is a gem and I will absolutsly return for the espresso!

I believe owners have changed. The coffee was not great, went from the best vanilla latte in the city to basic. The food…heartbreaking…from fresh, delicious and unique to frozen croissants so brick hard they are now inedible.

My son introduced me to this cafe. I and ordered the pumpkin spice chai tea, it is so delicious I went back twice. I've been told their sandwiches are amazing and ordered a couple for my family. They said they would definitely eat there again.

The chef is is so talented. I've been here 4 times in the last few months since I discovered them through the yyc hot chocolate festival and I keep looking for excuses to run errands in the area so I can stop by. The espresso brisket sandwich is to die for, the chicken paprikash on brown rice equally delicious. They have tasty house made dips and spreads, take home meals and soups and adventurous cafe offerings as well and very reasonably priced. A hidden yyc gem for sure.
