Village Pita is a true treasure in Calgary! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of fresh spices and baking bread. Their menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes, but the highlight for me was their chicken shawarma plate—generous portions, perfectly seasoned, and paired with the creamiest hummus and fluffy rice.
The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, perfect for enjoying a casual meal. The staff are kind and passionate about their food, which really shines through in every bite.
It’s rare to find a place that balances quality, authenticity, and value so well. If you haven’t been to Village Pita yet, you’re truly missing out!

Stopped by here for lunch, my first time trying out their Pita pies. The steak and cheese was delicious!! The meat pie is massive - definitely good for sharing and for only $4.75!!!
Definitely check them out if your in the area.

This is where you will find the best pita pies in Calgary! They have the most delicious cheese pies I have ever had, with a blend of 5 cheeses it's a must order! I have also tried their spicy cheese and chicken, donair, zaatar and meat pies they are all delicious. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. Love this place totally recommend!

Love this place!!! Walked in and saw two kids enjoying amazing looking pita pies. When I tried the meat pita...crispy on the outside and soft as I bit into it with hints of various spices..I was so impressed. Also found okra in their freezer so that saved me some walking thru grocery aisles looking for okra. I will be back.

Didn’t know what to expect but our experience has been amazing. The food is lovely and delicious. I highly recommend. It’s a family that runs the place and they make everything with love. You have to try the pies to believe. I was able to catch a picture of the pie’s before they were long gone 😂
