We love this Wayne’s location! We stop by almost weekly to grab a bagel sandwich and enjoy the atmosphere of the farmers market. The staff at this location is always so busy, but they never miss an opportunity to connect with us. Lynn is an absolute delight, she always remembers my name, and is always cheery and kind.
The food is always fresh and made promptly, even when there is a long line-up. I highly recommend the perky turkey and the BLT sandwiches, and their rosemary rocksalt bagels in general (I am obsessed).

My first time trying this spot since coming to Calgary. I’ve heard about it from others and was told they are the best bagels in Calgary.
That might very well be true. They’re very true to the Montreal style.
I got the lox (classic salmon) and my partner got the veggie version.
The cut on the red onion was a bit choppy for mine, and the capers were a bit sparse. Either way, still a really good bagel.
I’ll grab a half dozen next time and make my own dolled up version at home. With a near $16 price tag on a bagel with lox, it left something to be desired for sure.

This isn’t fast food, but it’s damn good food! You’ll wait a little because everything is made from scratch, but the quality is unmatched and the food is delicious!!
Anything from a quick breakfast bagel to a super savoury lunch, it’s all available and well worth the visit-make sure you give them a try next time at the Calgary Farmer’s Market!

I’ve become a regular at the Calgary south farmers market, Wayne’s bagels location over the past 4 years. I come nearly every weekend for a breakfast treat after working all week! Lyn (not sure on spelling) the cashier/manager(?) has taken my order everytime in the elapsed time I’ve been coming. We talk like old friends and she remembers my order everytime! Makes things seem less and then we can focus on catching up! The food is fantastic even if I get the same thing everytime! I occasionally get bagles to take home for snacks or breakfast and they stay fresh for a long time and never disappoint! I can safely say if you have a bagel craving this is the spot to go to! I’ve never felt more valued as a customer at any other establishment! I will remain coming to this specific location until Lyn leaves or moves on from the bagel game. Definitely a must try at the farmers market!
